MACRA has unveiled the First Lady Her Excellency Madam Monica Chakwera as Malawi\u2019s Child Online Protection (COP) Ambassador. Madam Chakwera was unveiled during a fundraising dinner held at Sanjika Palace in Blantyre for Shaping Our Future Foundation, a charity which she founded to promote holistic development and education of village girls and street children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The First Lady\u2019s appointment is part of the Child Online Protection Strategy which MACRA in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a United Nations arm for Telecommunications, developed in 2023.
